Do you have the drive and compassion to change the life of a youth? Do you know a child who is in need of a caring adult mentor?
The Heart 2 Heart Youth Mentoring Program matches youth ages 9-17 with a caring, responsible adult volunteer for a one-on-one year-long mentoring relationship. Mentors serve as a trusted guide and role model and support mentees in developing important academic and life skills. Mentors help to expose mentees to opportunities, resources, and activities beneficial to their growth. Mentors commit to spending 8 hours a month with their mentee engaged in formative, mutually-agreed upon activities. All mentors and mentees are screened, trained, and supported by the Program Coordinator who serves as a resource throughout the duration of the mentoring relationship.
